NOUVEL LIEN by MISABEM

📓 The Project

Nouvel Lien began as a government-funded initiative with no defined identity: a promising cultural integration program supported by the Province of Quebec and the City of Montreal, but still just a concept on paper. The ask was to shape that idea into something real—a program with a name, a presence, and a purpose the community could immediately understand and connect with.

The result was Nouvel Lien, a brand built around connection, culture, and new beginnings. Designed to help Black and immigrant communities integrate through shared workshops and cultural experiences, the program reframed an unnamed initiative into a vibrant, recognizable offering with the clarity and staying power needed to grow.

📦 The Deliverables

This role involved developing the full brand identity from the ground up—naming, logo design, and foundational visual assets to anchor future communications. The objective was to position Nouvel Lien as both a community-building platform and a distinct cultural program that reflects MISABEM’s broader mission: mobilizing resources to help immigrant families thrive.
